Furniture Finishes
Hand Crafted:
All our furniture is hand crafted from plantation timber. Each piece is as much unique as it is individual and no two pieces are identical. Each piece is sold "as is" with its inherent irregularities which gives each piece it's own unique character. The timber and designs will see many generations of use, pleasing those who value quality, style and individuality.
Timber:
Mahogany has been a sought after wood for centuries by master furniture craftsmen. It is prized for it's carving attributes and beautiful grain.
Teak is one of the hardest woods available for furniture manufacture. It has excellent properties, enabling it to be used for indoor and outdoor use. Teak wood is not easily marked or damaged.
Sheesham this teak timber has long been preferred by traditional handicraft, furniture and instrument makers in India as it produces a quality and finish in keeping with the timbers' strength and natural beauty.
Timber Finishes:
Mahogany furniture is mainly stocked in Pecan (medium honey brown stain) but can also be ordered in Walnut (dark reddish brown), French White or Cream(painted gloss or semi gloss), Gold, Black or Raw (no stain or paint and either with our without a sanding sealer - if an upholstered item you need to let us know if you wish the upholstery to be added).
All finishes except Pecan, Walnut and Raw attract a 10% fee.

Teak furniture is mainly stocked in a natural teak oil but can also be ordered in stained finishes.
Sheesham is only supplied in natural lacquer finish
Upholstery/Vinyl/Leather:
Most chairs/lounges/footstools are stocked in a cream and gold floral design as standard. Other colours with same design are: royal blue, heritage green and maroon/burgundy. Upholstered items can be ordered in Velvet or Vinyl (leather look) for an additional 10% fee.
Vinyl (leather look) on desk tops and chairs/stools can be ordered in heritage green, maroon/burgundy or black.
